The theory of general relativity
It was created by Einstein.The theory of special relativity explains how space and time are linked for objects that are moving at a consistent speed in a straight line. It´s so important because thanks to that we know the space-time relation, how are the black holes of space... He lasted 1 year of a lot of work to do this. -
The first assembly line
It was instaled by Henry Fold for the mass production of an entire automobile. It was so important because it allowed vehicles to be produced less expensively for both, the consumer and the company. -
Panama Canal opens (for the first time)
It was opened on August, 8 in 1914 for traffic. It was controlled and buillt by The United States of America. It´s so important for maritime trade. -
The Decree on Land
The Decree on Land was announced by Lenin. He was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He improved labour rights and access to education that´s why it is important. -
WW1 ended with an armistice
The Armistice of 11 November 1918 was the armistice signed at Le Francport near Compiègne that ended fighting on land, sea and air in World War I between the Allies and their opponent, Germany. This event is important because the WW1 was known as "the war to end all wars" so signing this armistice, apparently was going to finish all wars. -
Miguel Primo de Rivera led a military coup and became dictator
He was dictator of Spain between 1923 to 1930. He discredited the king and ruined the monarchy. With him in the power began a lot of tensions that led to the Spanish Civil War (that´s why is so important). He was inspirated by Mussolini. -
Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin.
The discovery of penicillin was an accidental one. It´s so important nowadays for medicine because penicillin was the first effective antibiotic to kill bacteria, that means that cures for serious illnesses, like now. Fleming started the antibiotic revolution -
Von Hindenburg appointed Hitler as Chancellor of Germany
Hitler, the man that had been denouncing and attemping to destroy republic, was named chancellor of Germany. This is so important because the period while Hitler was in command, died 50 millions of people through wars and liberal extermination. -
Spanish civil war starts
The Spanish war started in 1936 as a revolt by right-wing Spanish military officers in Spanish Morocco and spreads to mainland Spain. Francisco Franco called the army officers against republican goverment. It´s important because we wouldn´t make the same mistake for our country. -
The end of Spanish Civil War
The civil war lasted 3 years. Nationalists won the war. Franco entered to Madrid with his troops and took the power of the country. He began a dictatorship. It was important because the dictation of Franco marked in Spain´s history. -
The invasion of Poland
The German invasion began on 1 of September of 1939. The invasion of Poland marked the beginning of the Second World War that´s why its so important.The Soviet Union invaded eastern Poland on September 17, 1939.
