Gladiator Fight
In this place in time, I will be watching a gladiator fight, which was a large part of history for the Romans. I wanted to go to this time and witness this event because I am very interested in Rome. Also the people who used to live there intrigue and this was a part of Roman life and tradition. -
Gunpowder Treason
On this date a man named Guy Fawkes planted explosives in the parliament building in Britain. This event was important because if Fawkes had success, Britain would have been different. Guy Fawkes along with other conspirators were involved. If I were there at the time, I would have made sure the explosives were set off, throwing Britain into chaos and allowing the conspirators to rule the land under a monarchy. into chaos and allowing the conspirators to rule the land under a monarchy. -
Lincolns Assassination
In this event Lincoln was killed. This event was important because it changes Americans lives. Abraham Lincoln is the main historical figure in this event, as well as John Wilkes Booth. When I am here, I will murder Lincoln myself. (Not that I don’t like Lincoln, Lincoln rocks!) The only thing about this that will change the future is that I will be famous for killing a president instead of Booth. -
Kill Hitler
In 1894 Hitler turned five. I decided that this would be the perfect time to kill him. I want to come to this event so a lot of misery doesn’t happen. This would involve me and Hitler, Hitler being the historical one. If I succeed in doing this history will be changed. If I accomplish this the holocausts would never have happened and many lives would be saved. -
Warn the Titanic
On this date in history the Titanic set sail only to sink. It is important because it was the largest ship at the time and many people lost lives. The historical people are anyone killed this day. If I were there I would warn people. The only thing that would be changed would that a few paranoid people would have been saved and less lives lost. The future would not be very different. -
Babe Ruth
In this year Babe Ruth ran a total of 60 home runs in one season. This is important because until 1961 it was the home run record. I want to see this because when talking about baseball Babe Ruth always comes up and I want to be able to say I saw him run. Babe Ruth is the only historical figure in this event. -
The Tripple Crown
If I could go back in time, I would go back and see Sea-Biscuit win the Triple Crown. It is important because not many horses could win the Triple Crown. I would want to go to this time because I like horses and watching then race. The only historical figures are Sea-Biscuit and his jockey, Red Pollard. -
Ride the USS Nereus
During this event the ship the USS Nereus disappeared into the Bermuda triangle. It was important because the disappearance of this ship is a great mystery to America. I want to go because I want to know what really happened. The only historical figure is the captain manning the USS Nereus, L.D. Follmer. -
Johnny Cash
If I could go back in time I would go back to see Johnny Cash sing live. It is important because Johnny Cash is a famous country singer and I like his music. Johnny Cash is the only historical figure involved and his role is to perform live. -
The Fall of the Twin Towers
On this tragic day two planes were crashed into the twin towers by terrorists. It is important because it was a major event in US history. The historical figures are the terrorist and they caused many deaths. If I were there I would warn the people. How the future would have changed: It wouldn’t. The people would never have taken me seriously and nothing would be different.
