The Andorrian conflict was resolved in 1278 on fear of military action by signing a pareage. This stated that Andorra's sovereignty had to be shared between the Count of Foix and the Bishop of La Seu d'Urgell. -

War of the Spanish Succession begins.
The War of the Spanish Succession occured November 1st 1700. It developed after King Carlos II of Spain dies childless giving no true right to the throne by blood. But in his will it stated that Philip the Duke of Anjou would take over the Spanish crown which angered neighboring countries such as Great Britain and the Netherlands. -

Because of the Treaty of Utrecht the country of Gibralter becomes an overseas British Territory on April 11th 1713. It's also still an Overseas British Territory today. -

The War was considered to be more revolved around politics since the Nationalists were supported by the facist countries of Nazi Germany and Italy and the Republican Spanish Government was supported by Mexico and the Soviet Union. -

The Spanish Civil War ended on April 1st 1939 when the Nationalists backed up by the Facist nations of Nazi Germany and Italy were victorious and the leader of the Nationalists, Francisco Franco became the new leader of Spain as Dictator. -
Gibraltar's key role in World War II
Gibraltar played a key role during World War II by enabling the british control of the Mediterranean and as an acting Air Defense base. It also helped decimate the German and Italian Armys from Africa. -

The change in Spain's constitution making the country a Constitutional Democracy was created on October 3rd, 1978 but wasn't ratified till Decemeber 6th 1978. finally making Spain a Constitutional Democracy and going away from the Dictatorship led by Francisco Franco. -
