The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) began broadcasting educational radio programs for schools in the 1920s. The first adult education radio broadcast from the BBC in 1924 was a talk on Insects in Relation to Man. Radio in 1920s, Film Strip Projector in 1930s and Overhead Projector in 1940s were main technological devices in this era. -
Information Age
Television was first used in education in the 1960s, for schools and for general adult education. In 1970s, televisions combined with VCRs. In 1980s, the field met Audio Taps. -
Computer Age
