  • Oct 12, 1492

    Columbus Land in the Americas

    In October of 1492 Columbus and his crew of 90 men saw land. Columbus thought that he had hit Indonesia and he felt successful, but he had no idea that they fwere not even close to indonissia. Stage 3 section 1 in history textbook.
  • Settlement of Jamestown

    The settlement of Jamestown was very significant because it was one of the first towns to almost fail but also be a settled town in the new world.Stage 3 section 1 in the history textbook.
  • French and Indian war

    The French and Indian war was a war that let the British have the land that French-owned. This is also really significant because it is the first war win in the New World. Stage 4 section 3 in the history textbook.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    The Proclamation of 1763 is so important because it was the first big thing that the British government did to hold back the colonies. THis was also big because it showed the colonies that the British is not afraid of the colonists. Stage 5 section 1 in the history textbook.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    The battle of Yorktown was the final battle of the revolutionary war. It was also probably the biggest because it was the last and it is where the British surrendered for the last time. Stage 5 section 4 in the history textbook.
  • The Tready of Paris

    The treaty of Paris was super important because it ended the revolutionary war. This was also a big thing because the British recognized the Americas as an independent county. Stage 5 section 4 in the history textbook.
  • Louisiana Purchase

    The Louisiana Purchase was so significant because of Thomas Jefferson being able to purchase the amount of land that he was able to purchase. Iw as also very significant because he got so much land he was able to get to get for the amount of money per acre .Stage 2 section 1 in the history textbook.
  • The Missouri Compromise

    This compromise was a compromise that stated how the rest of the coutry would be divied out woth slavery and with out slavery.
  • Trail of Tears

    The trail of tears is considered one of the biggest mistakes of American history becsue all we did was push people of there land because they wanted the land. This was also really bad because we made all of the Indians walk to Oklahoma from Georgia or Florida. Stage 12 section 2 in the history textbook.
  • Oldest Amusment park still open today.

    This amusement park was open since 1846. This amusement park was also had one coaster when it first opened.
  • First amusement park to open in Japan

    This was a big thing for amusement parks seeing that later on in japans amusement park career it would develop some of the most thrilling and exciting rides to this day!
  • Organ Trail

    The organ trail as really significant because it was one of the first mass exodus for the east coast to the west coast. This was also really important because this was the first big use of the new land that we had never used. Stage 12 section 3 in the history textbook.
  • Battle of Fort Sumpter

    Theis battle was the first battle of the civil war and the first win for the Confederets.
  • 15th Amendment ratified

    Te 15ht amendment was ratified so that the state governments in the south could not say to a black person if your grandfather did not vote you can not vote. 15th amendment denied state governments from denying citizens the right to vote or suffrage.
  • First Rollercoaster

    The first roller coaster was built in 1884 and was built in Coney Island. Type of rollercoaster was called a switchback railroad.
  • Oldest running rollercoaster

    This rollercoaster is called leap the dips in Lakemont Park. This coaster had a figure 8 layout and it goes 18 mph.
  • Christmas Truce

    It was when the two sides of the war came together to play a game of soccer on christams day
  • Hitlers Suicide

    Hitler committed suicide and a few days later the German army surrendered.
  • Disneyland Opens

    The notorious park that changed the theme park world forever.
  • The oldest racing coaster in the world

    The oldest racing roller coaster is at king island called (guess what) the racer and it opened in 1972. The layout is a boy tie layout for both sides of the coasters.
  • Berlin Wall Falls

    The Berlin Wall fell because of the End of the Communist party adn the USSR.
  • Talest rollercoaster in the world

    King de ka is the talest coaster in the world and opened in 2005. This coaster has a 215 mph up a long vertical hill and you cam straight back down .
