Creation of the Cabinet
In order to establish both credibility and balance, George Washington chose a cabinet that included members from different regions of the country. Originally, there were 4 members, now currently there are 15 who are the heads of the 15 Executive Departments. This is historically significant because without the Cabinet, the president will have his or her's hands full. The Cabinet is supposed to help run Federal Agencies. -

To provide the President with the support the he or she needs to govern effectively, the Executive Office of the President (EOP) was created in 1939 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. This is historically important because without the EOP the presidents may not exist anymore. -

Congress passes the National Security Act, creating the National Security Council and the Central Intelligence Agency to assist the president in the design and conduct of American foreign policy. This is historically important because without the CIA, some things in the world may not be the same. -

The 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump, real estate magnate and television personality, was formally launched on June 16, 2015. Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President of the United States in the 2016 election at the Trump Tower in New York City with the slogan "Make America Great Again." This is important because if he wins, the world could end as we know it.
