I was born with deaf parents and I got early exposure in ASL. I enjoy walking around house with mom and pointed several colorful flowers garden around my house as my mom would sign the flowers' colors to me. My mother caught my first sign, flower and she was shocked that saying mom wasn't my first word. It happened around when I was 7-12 months old. -

I am securely attached child, my mother said that she usually tells me that she will be right back as she explained in details while I protest mildly or return to playing toys or other things to do in the room. -

5.3a Gender
When I was little girl, I accepted myself as female and I picked a lot of girl toys, played with dolls, and I had a lot boy friends and girls who are not high maintenance. My dad is outdoor person which he made big impact on my adventures, rode dirt motorcycle, bmx bike, camping, I hated cheerleading, and it did not affect me questioning myself why I am female. -
6.1b My Birth Order
I am first born, my brother is three years younger. Mentioned on textbook p. 477, yes I agree with that oldest child is only one who is not have to share parental love and affection with other siblings until sibling comes along. And on textbook says that firstborn would have less attention after newborn arrives, I agree because I did use markers draw on my body, peanut butter on my skin, drew on wall to get attention when my brother was born. -

4.2 Intelligence
Gardener's eight kinds of intelligence, one of them is spatial which I excel at, and it goes during my young childhood around three to four years old. As I was not used with my new young sibling which is three years apart from me. As my mom would breast feed or doing other things towards my brother. I got lack of attention as I created ways to get attention from my mom. I would draw myself or draw on wall at basement as my mom would come up to me and clean me up. To this day, I'm artist. -

4.1 My First Memory
I got my infantile anmesia during three years old, my family went to Australia and I remember sitting on airplane and kept asking my dad when the plane ride would end, as it's total 23 hours of flight. Also I remember walking up to flight attendant to ask for more cookies. It was blur memory but there was several images of memory during traveling to Australia. -

4.3b Language 2
I was three years old at Australia for around 6 weeks and I got exposure from my uncle/aunt and cousins signing AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language). I first learned signing "will" in AUSLAN and I was able to switch per signing from ASL to AUSLAN as I know the same word but different signing. My dad and uncle lives nearby as they kept signing in AUSLAN, I would see it often at home growing up. I came back, I was 15 years old, I picked up quickly as I believe it's because I learned when I was kid. -
6.1a My Family
My parents are still married and I have brother who is three years younger, my mom's side- she have one brother, one sister, and adopted brother & sister. My dad's side- from Australia he has total 7 siblings, and some of us would never see each other for several years, some of us haven't met little cousin. I met many family at Australia when I was three years old. I have distance family and learned to embrace my adopted uncle and aunt. -

I learned how to read and write english during early childhood to today as I am always learning grammars everyday. As ASL is my first language as I struggled with reading comprehension when I was 2-6th grade. I got improved by help with English teachers. I learned the most from school and their support helped me to be able to have a good english writing style. -

3.2 Older Adult Health
I was 9, my grandpa 65 yrs old got stroke I visited him in hospital, he had red light holding on his finger for heart rate as he said he was E.T. I had child imaginary that he will be alright. During the year, he had some trouble with swallowing, bills payments, got bankrupted they had to move as grandpa didn't feel being at home, he lived there for 11 days. I looked him up in art as I stopped drawing. I got older I got inspired again, back to art as I developed my passion in Art Therapy. -
6.3a Impacted by Death
My first experience of death was my grandpa passing away. I had denial and isolation because I was only around seven years old and I had unfinished business with my grandpa telling me he would teach me how to draw. As I skipped all Kubler-Ross' stages to acceptance, I understood that people come in and out. I did refuse to draw until my art teacher in middle school, he made difference of my perspective on death and he said I got his art genes. -

6.2 Learning Disability
I had psychology tests as I gave consent to have them film me as I found out that I had bike accident during summer 2002, I got test anxiety and I got stressed in early age I forgot a year of math due to concussion. As my learning style is different, I go with interaction classroom and my psychologist said that visual learning style is best for me. Older, I was able to analyze my skills and have professor to make accommodation with me. It affected me learning different style of how to study. -

5.2 Identity
I did not have the identity confusion, I had stability and was involved with activities during high school. Deaf school helps me understand my deaf identity, and I may experience identity foreclosure as I made many commitments but was prevented to explore due to my authoritative and conservative parents. I had chance to receive identity achievement when I went in college 2012. -

3.1 My Health
I was around fifteen I got my knee sprained as I was still growing, my knee muscle grew into wrong direction. Three years of search into best doctor, I happened to have blood test doctor discovered something in my blood. I would live with it rest of my life. I have HLA-B27 blood type although it is genetic test but there are different researches, I have ankylosing spondylitis disease. It's inflammatory arthritis that affects my spine, if I don't eat right and not exercise my back will bend. -
5.1b Adult Attachment
My last relationship, I had secure attachment style towards to my partner. I learned the trust and I loved myself before putting on another person and I am independent which it showed that I view trust, communication, honesty in relationship and I have that kind of attachment to my love, and I expect the same kind of attachment from my partner. We were together for almost two years, he was hearing and we broke up on 2/14/14 due to different track in life. He passed away on April 2016. -
5.2b Ethnic Identity
I was born and raised in USA, and I have dual citizen. My dad is from Australia where I was raised with Australia culture at home. I always felt missing because I did not earn the whole experience being Australian. Americans usually think of themselves while Australian people like to give kindness, greet, caring, and I often get hurt by Americans because they did not experience or never learned how to do the altruism way. Yes some Americans got altruism in small percentage. -

chronological age- 22, biological age- healthy and young, psychological age- college student, social age- outgoing friends likes to go to events around DC. Normative age-graded influences- age between teenager and adulthood, normative age-graded influences- 4th deaf generation, half Australian and American. Non-normative life events- bike accident during 7 years old during summer got concussion and forgot how to do add/subtract on school during fall affected my education shortly. -
5.3b Sexuality
My romantic attraction is on men, that makes me heterosexual. I am attracted to men who are attractive looking, independent, loves himself, commutative, honest, understanding culture, & friendly. I did got questions from students such as "how do you know if you're straight if you haven't kissed a girl?" that did got me questioning myself for shortly and in the end I knew what I really want and that is my own attraction not letting other people decide for me as I did not image being with woman. -
2.1 Fertility
My partner and I wanted to do parental diagnostic tests before making our fertilization. My family has redhead genes and blue eyes. As my partner has the redhead genes but not the blue eyes. As the DNA shows it is possible that our child would not be able to get blue eyes. My age is 38 the stage of age, child may be in risk, it is possible to have twins as they may develop behavior genetics. My partner smokes in past life, China shows that children may develop cancer(Ji and others, 1997, p.68) -
6.3b My Death
Future I may die when I'm 93 years old. I would like to be cremated so my ash can fly free on my favorite location. I would like to have my family/friends celebrate my death of having party and sharing memories about me as I am not religious person, and later maybe I would create my own funeral/celebration of my death.
