Christopher Columbus Lands
He traveled throughout the seas and was finding new pieces of land that he thought was the first one to discover, but he did not know that others have been their first. -
Proclamation of 1763
This was important because they forbade any of the new settlements to go to the west of the lands because they would damage the land too easily. -
The Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was another great event because this reduced the amount of taxes that people had to pay over pieces of paper. This money was raised to protect the frontier of America. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was really bad because some British soldier shot innocent people and they did not care. This is why this was a massacre. -
The Boston Tea Party
This was a great event in history because they created the rules that there can be no taxation without representation. -
The American Revolution War
This was an important event because what happened was that the thirteen colonies declared independence. This also had a big follow up with The Stamp Act because they were protesting about tax without representation. -
The Deceleration of Independence
This was a great event in history because it was deceleration that everybody got to have their independence. This meant that people could own the things that they have bought and they were not allowed to be taken from them, like land. -
United States Constitution
This was a very important event in history because this was when the deceleration of independence was signed. With out it, we would not have our Independence. -
Jamestown
This is a very great event because this town belonged to the first English settlement and it was very important to them to have it to themselves. -
The Louisiana Purchase
This was very important because with out this we would not be here. It was when America bought a huge piece of land from France. -
Lewis and Clark Expedition
These guys crossed a portion of America that no one had ever crosses by. This is how these guys got their believes they did things no one else did. -
Election of 1828
This was when Andrew Jackson was elected and he became on of the greatest leaders that America ever had. -
Indian Removal Act
They wanted to remove all federal territory from anybody who is not legal to have that territory. They wanted their money back as well because they bought the land. -
Mexican American War
These two states had a war over confusion over a piece of land. America took over Mexico's land and they took over their's. -
Compromise of 1850
They were talking about trading slaves. They were also talking about how they should trade lands so their slaves could work even better. -
Dred Scott Decision
It was a big decision for him because he was an enslaved African american that decided to escape and have his freedom. -
Election of 1860
The election of 1860 was a very weird election because Lincoln won the most popular votes and was elected president, but you needed to win the most electoral votes to be president and Lincoln did not. -
The Civil War
The Civil War was the war that people were fighting about our slavery. -
Lincoln Assasination
Lincoln's assassination was very tragic but it encouraged people to have more safety for their president. -
The Civil Rights Act of 1964.
This event was very helpful because it was the end of discrimination against sex skin color or gender.
