Skylanders (Activision, 2011)
Skylanders was my first ever console game that I had played. It was on the Wii and I played it for well over 3-4 years. It was very fun having different characters that you could play as and put on the portal. It was also very easy to play for my 8 year old mind with all the game mechanics being simple one taps and directions or hints coming up quite frequently -
Minecraft (Mojang 2011)
Minecraft was and still is my go to game. When I first started playing this it was on an iPad but now I've got it on my PC and my PS4 I'm pretty creative so its like it was made for me. I also loved being able to play with my sister or relatives and show them all my cool builds or survival worlds -
Disney Infinity (Disney Interactive Studios, 2013)
This came after skylanders when I got a PS3 instead. I liked being able to make worlds and play on them as my favourite disney characters due to its sandbox feature. In the later games, the characters could also be levelled and I liked having all my characters maxed out so I could use all sorts of abilities on my friends. -
Assassin' creed 4: Black flag (Ubisoft, 2013)
This has to be one of my favourite games ever. Edward was such a good character and I loved parkouring around and using stealth to my advantage. Call of Duty: WaW (Activision, 2008)
This was my first ever COD game and it was very fun to play the campaign and first ever zombies game. I really liked how I had to plan what I was going to do fast in order to not die and it was fairly challenging unlike most of the other games that I was playing beforehand. This was the beginning of me getting really into gaming -
Assassin's creed franchise (Ubisoft, 2007-2022)
I couldn't stop playing assassins creed. I really enjoyed all the different stories of each of the characters and how they all fit in well with their time periods. The game mechanics such as parkour and stealth were really fun to play around with and helped me explore the worlds in a very fun and enjoyable way.
I had all the games and I was playing it for the next 2 years or so -
Call of Duty WW2
This was my first online game. I enjoyed how I could communicate with others to help the team win. I also liked competing against others and I feel like competitive shooter games have become some of my favourites due to my great experience with this -
Many other games
In 2022 I played many more games and expanded my tastes more. I had played games such as Battlefront 2: Spiderman PS4, Far cry 6, Red dead redemption 2, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Jedi: Fallen order, and many more. I enjoyed the stories and game mechanics of all of them and they all gave me great experiences in different styles and settings. -
Currently (Guerilla games, 2022 and Activision, 2022-2023)
The two games that I am currently playing are Horizon: Forbidden west and Call of duty: Modern warfare 2. I'm really liking both of them at the moment. Horizon has such a vibrant environment and setting for me to explore and survive in. The story was also made very well and is a great sequel to the first game. I enjoy MW2 as I can play it with all my friends at work and fight against others with the cool new features such as new vehicles and proximity chat.
