Duck Hunt
Duck Hunt is a light gun shooter game, first released in 1984.
Most remembered as playing with my older sister. We would come back from school and jump straight onto this game, get super competitive and really go at it. It was a way of us bonding since she was much older than me and one of my fondest childhood memories. Tekken
Tekken, originally an arcade game is One of the first arcade games I ever played as a child. As a group of friends, we would have mini tournaments in this arcade down the road from where we lived. It brought out the best or even sometimes, the worst in us. It was an experience where I made a lot of friends from gaming, and even a lot of enemies! Football/Soccer
Football, said to have originally begun in 1863, is my favourite sport. I started playing it as a hobby which soon became an obsession/compulsion. Every time i was out on that field it felt like everything else was a blur. It gave me friends,team spirit and pure joy. The feeling of scoring your first goal will always be unparalleled. God of War!
God of War, was one of my first ever PS games. It is the reason I got into Graphics and Animation. The pure class of their game design was the deciding point for my career. From the game play to environment design, everything was on point,and defeating the big bad monsters just made it all so much better. Need for Speed: Most Wanted: Black Edition
NFS Most Wanted( EA 2012) was another core part of my childhood, it was given to me as a gift on my birthday and it is what got me into cars. As a young boy, seeing all these amazing cars, going so fast, it was all just what one would only dream of. But to be able to buy these cars and race with them in the game, it gave me another level of excitement. I would come back after school, put on my sisters laptop and get right into the game, after my homework, OF COURSE! -
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 released in 2012, one of the elites of the gaming world, it holds a dear place in my heart because it wa the one game I used to play everytime I went over to my best friends house, we would play for hours and it just had us in such a competitive spirit all the time, and his dad would make the most amazing food, so this is one of my core childhood memories. It was just a moment of pure joy and no worries in the world. -
FIFA
FIFA(EA Sports-2015) Has always been a classic and an all time favourite, it being my favourite sport. It just brings back memories of sitting with friends, everyone fighting over the controller, where we would play rock paper scissors to determine the first 2 who were going to play first. Having tournaments while we ordered pizzas. This game made mw more friends than i could have imagined or hoped for at that age and it was one of the best times of my life. -
Spiderman
Spiderman(Insomniac Games 2018), a remake of the classic! Everyone's childhood hero comes to the screen in a way never seen before, the realism and the gameplay. This game had me hooked within the first 5 seconds of the preview. It is one of those games that sucks you in and makes you forget what else is happening around you. I finished the game within 2 days, at a medium level obviously! But I literally only put the controller down when my eyes were red from lack of sleep. Spidey to the rescue!
