Charity Walk-a-thon
Students participated in a schoolwide walk-a-thon to raise money for charity. Family members sponsored the students and our class walked almost 20 laps! Great job room 6! -

Field Trip to Doyle's Farm
The first grade classes took a trip to Doyle's Farm. We have been learning about life cycles and how plants grow. This trip was a lot of fun and students not only got to see where pumpkins grow, but had a chance to see what other jobs take place on a farm to keep it running. -
Legend of the Indian Paintbrush
We explored how Native Americans used nature to create art. In this picture students use berries to paint a picture of the sunset, as the main character did in The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush.
