Siblings
This feels like forever ago. I didn't expect to be the big brother but it happened. my little sister was born on march 31st of 2010 and my little brother almost a year later was born on march 15th 2011. From the day my little sister was born i knew i was given a big responsibility for a 10 year old boy. I had to be the role model to them and teach them good things and help them and guide them with everything. They mean the world to me. Theyre so big already, time goes by too fast. -
First sport
As a kid i was never involved in any sports. i blame my parents for that but they said i was never interested which is weird because i don't even remember not being interested and i love sports. But in the fall of 7th grade i decided to do one because i wanted to know how it felt like to be on a sports team. i joined the modified cross country team and i was never happier. the first day of practice was such a great experience and i'm glad to know what it feels like to be on a team. -
Getting a job
i began working at aversano's for about 3 rears now. All i thought about was on how much stuff i was going to buy for myself. I was young and wasted almost every paycheck as soon as i got it. Ive had the job for a couple of years now so i have grown and matured a little but more and can now manage my money and spend wisely. I still spend it stupidly sometimes. if it wasn't for my older brother who already worked there, i definitely wouldn't have gotten the job. -
Honor roll
The last time i got honor roll was in 3rd quarter of 7th grade. Since then i was slacking. i never thought i would get it again because of my poor work ethic. From the beginning of junior year i realized how much i needed to get myself together. During junior year i received honor roll two quarters in a row. i never felt more accomplished in my life. i was so proud of myself because of how long it was since i got an honor roll and proud because i picked myself up and bettered myself -
Moving up
i have had my job for quite a while now. All i did there was work in the back and make pizza dough. Its not living the dream but it pays money and it gets me off the couch. I never thought of going doing anything else as in moving up because i was shy. But one day i realized that i need to get out of my comfort zone. You can't accomplish anything by staying in your safe zone. My boss gave me the opportunity of being a bus boy and let me tell you, $$!!! -
Getting license
Getting my license was an awesome experience for me. it made me so much more excited because having it gives me so much freedom. Upon getting my license i drove to work and i never felt more alive in my entire life. Having that freedom of driving by yourself to a destination by yourself maks you feel good about yourself. i got over it pretty quickly but i can never forget the feeling i got and will go by as the day that changed my life. -
First car
My uncle was over my house one day and was grilling up the good eats. while we were eating, the conversation of cars and insurance and that stuff came up and my uncle asked me if i can pay for insurance. i said yes because i have a job and i can pay the monthly payments for it. He then told me i can have his car. I didnt believe him at first but he was being dead serious. The car was in great condition, a little old but hey, first car and for free? couldn't have asked for better. -
12 hour shift
the first day i was given a 12 hour shift i almost choked. At the same time i was really excited because i was working sucg a long shift i felt like a full grown adult. i enjoyed it though, i made good money that day because i was working half the day in the back and the rest of the night bussing. I learned a lot of new things, and it helped my social skills. im shy when it comes to strangers but i overcame the fear and had a blast. -
lake compounce
the day before school started, my friends and i planned a very last minute trip to lake compounce. I had the best time because i drove there with them and the entire way there we were jamming to music and having the time of our lives. being 16 with a license and a car driving far away from home without supervision felt so free. i had the ability to go wherever i desired and i never been happier. it was a great little road trip to lake compounce. -
First day of senior year
First day of senior year was different from other previous years. My last first day of highschool. after this year im finished with high school. Coming into school felt unreal. Nothing felt like the previous years where i was like great this again. instead i had more of a positive attitude and felt excited to see how awesome this year was going to be. I felt very above everyone else for a second but everyone will be a senior one day i got over it. Im going to enjoy it very much though.
