    Watson & Crick Double Helix
    While preparing for his doctorate at Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge, England, James Watson met physicist turned bioligist Franics Crick. Their shared interest in DNA began a partnership that resulted in the "joint proposal of the double-helical model of the DNA in 1953. Watson, Crick, and Wilkins shared the 1962 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine for their DNA studies."
