Shipwreckied on Galveston
De Vaca and his men crash landed on Galveston but the Indian group they encountered (The Karankawas) werent very friendly. -

De Vaca and his men
Since De Vaca and his men werent taken in after they shipwrecked, all but De Vaca and 5 of his men died from the lack of food, water, and shelter. He never became a medicine man but did find his way back to cube by 1537. -

Since De Vaca found nothing of his intrest in Texas, by the time he got back to Cuba he gave horrible reviews about Texas pushing back futher exploration for Fray Marcos and Estaban. -

Fray Marcos and Estaban's Journey
The King and Queen of Spain need backup to make sure that Texas wasnt a complete waste of their money so they sent Fray Marcos and Esteban. When they reported they found no gold but did get more land, Spain put exploration to a minimal funding for Texas. -

Coronado
Spain sent Corondado out to get a look of the land in Texas, but since Spain wasnt doing any major funding, Coronado didnt dicover much of anything. -

Moscoso and De Soto
Moscosos and De Soto go to Texas for exploration and discover there is a lot of land that nobody has explored. Thanks to the one bad report by De vaca, Spain hadnt got all of Texas land.or really even covered it. Aslo, De Soto didnt die since they werent in Texas for long.
