  • San Martin

    San Martin
    San Martin use to fight for the Spanish in Europe, but he went back to Argentina to fight for their independence from Spain. Martin, also helped with Chile and Peru's independence from Spain as well. Martin also, was considered a founding father of Argentina. San Martin crossed the Andes to Chile so that him and his army can surprise the Spanish army.
  • Haitian Revolution

It started from 1791 to 1803 but in that action when the slaves of the French colony won the revolution it made the French not any power over the colony and the slave became liberated from French rule and power. The leader of the revolt against the French was Toussaint Louverture.

    http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/mexican-war-of-independence-begins The Mexican War of Independence started when a priest called Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla wrote a document called Grito de Dolores to tell Spain that their 300 year of rule was now over. The tactic Miguel would use to general his soldiers was called Guerilla warfare. As, Miguel used this tactic he wanted to capture the capital of Mexico but it led to his capture and execution as he tried to flee north.

    Simon Bolivar made Venezuela's independence possible through guerilla warfare and he used the Indians and black slaves as soldiers. As, he got them to be his soldiers he wanted them to make their way through the Andes Mountain for a surprise attack on the Bogota. After, that the victory of Boyacá made Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, and Ecuador liberated, also Simon became President.

    In 1821 the land that we know as Greece was controlled by the Turks. The revolution started when Alexander Ypsilantis vanquished Jassy and declared Greece free. The Greek army was led by Theodoros Kolokotronis, also Greece had help from Turkey, Britain, France, and Russia. In addition to that because of the London Protocol independence came to Greece in 1830 as Turkey was forced to accept peace with Greece.

    Brazil's independence was fought for in a weird way because no violence happened, also the Portuguese royal family was part of the reason why Brazil's independence happened. In 1807, a man named King John ruled Portugal and wanted to make Brazil a colony again after Napoleon's he returned back to Portugal. But as he did that many Brazilians signed a document asking the King for their independence and he agreed on it.

    The series of violent uprisings in European countries where legal attempts at economic and political change ad sooner or later it turned to a bad cause that made it unsuccessful.
  • Italian Unification

    Italian Unification
    The Italian Unification was a political and social movement that made many different states of the Italian peninsula into the single state of the Kingdom of Italy. The king of Italy at that time was D'Azeglio and he created a new law called the Siccardi Law. The Siccardi Law was banning Christian churches or its clergy. In 1857, the nationalists founded the monarchist or unionist Italian National Society.
