"Well guess what I heard today at work Conor" said Mom what at the parliament building. What they have to lay off 25 workers because of the type of ecomony we have and they said I'm going to be on of the 25. And after dads death we have no money. I wish we could just move to amrica. Because this country is ticking me off. -
My 17th birthday present
It has been 17years since i was born and i have heard that my family has a big suprsie for me. So after I got done with my job at theTipper Bar my parents said that for your 17th birthday us as a family were going to america. And were leaving next friday. That night I said to my self that the journey begins next friday. -
The Boat
WOW when i sawl how big that boat was i almost peed my pants that boat is going to be my home for over a 3 weeks. That boat is a one way trip to freedome. On the way to the new world I hope that i dont get sick on the way to the new world. -
Land Ho
After 3weeks of being on that horrible boat I can finaly say that I don't like boats. So we take are first steps in the free country and right off the back we have to go into this place called Ellis Island. So when we get into Ellis Island the boy and the girl have to go to the other line. So when I have to leave my family I feel scared. So after a half of and hour of waiting its my turn so first they grab my eyelids and look under neath my eyes. -
Wait what war?
So after 14 years of being in the U.S.A I moved to western New York and work on Lake Eire. So I was fishing one day and my buddy buffy said to me that there is a war that may happen called the civil war. So I said Wait what theres a War going on. I have been in the U.S.A for 14 years im a Citizen i have been throw so much and There is going to be a War!!! So after I work I went home and then that next day my wife said we got mail. -
WAR
In that letter there was in big bold letters You Mr. Conor have been drafted into the Civil war to fight with the untied states army. But i'm like what I dont care about what happens im the south I would care less what the south does i only care about me and my faimily. So after 3 weeks I kind of forgot about the Draft. But there was a Soilder that came to get me. So he threated me to kill me and my faimly if i dont come. So I went. -
My death
So i have been with the army for around 8 mouths and i caught a gag green from a cut that i got and I going to die so I hope that this letter gets to my faimly because I love them dearly. So good by world.
