They were gonna settle but then there ship left them so they built rafts and the shipwrecked and landed on Galveston. He stayed here for 8 years. He met the Jumanos, Coahuiltecans, and the Karankawas. -

Columbus' Voyage was about him looking for a trade route to Asia for spices by going West.Christoper Columbus Instead of finding Asia found North and South America. The importance of it is that without him we wouldn't of found the North and South America. -

Hernán Cortés conquered Mexico for Spain.Cortés also conquered the Aztecs. This is important because he found a lot of gold for Spain. -

Pineda was on Columbus' second voyage and he was looking for a a water passage from the Gulf to the Orient. He also mapped about 800 miles. This is important because they wouldn't of know the places he mapped. -

Frey Marcos and Esteban were looking for riches. Esteban was a slave and was helping lead the expedition. Fray Marcos reported to see The 7 Cities of Gold but no one knew if he was lying or telling the truth. -

The two cities that Coronado Explored were Cibola, and Mexico City. Frey Marcos was Coronado's guide.Coronado found the Grand Canyon and Palo Duro Canyon. This is important because he found the most important canyons. -
