    The United States were involved. From 1945 to 1954 the birthrate increased tremendously. 20 million babies were born in this time period. The event took place from 1945 to 1954, in the united states. This event is important because in no other time in history that many babies were born at once. This impacted the U.S. by increasing the population greatly. Also it made it so people bought more, and the United States improved health care.

    The soviet union and the united states were involved. We were locked in a nuclear standstill. If either on of us attacked it could mean the end of the world. This took place in the U.S. and USSR. It is important because if either one of us attacked, it could've meant that everyone is dead. The cold war impacted us because we ended up with a lot more nuclear power in the end, which made the U.S. someone you do not want to go against. This also made other countries sort of scared of the U.S.

    Harry S. Truman wanted to help Europe. He helped countries rebuild after WWII. He did this by providing military and political support. This took place mostly in Europe. It is important because it showed that the U.S. wanted to help Europe. It impacted society and politics. It did this by helping to rebuild Europe after WWII.

    This involved President Truman, and Russia. He tried to counter Russia's attempts to capture land in Europe. This was an attempt to help countries rebuild. This took place in 1947, and in western Europe. It is important because if this didn't happen Russia would be a larger country, and some countries might no longer be here. It impacted American Politics mostly. We provided political and financial support to western European countries, and also keeping Russia from taking land.

    Joseph McCarthy was involved. He claimed a lot of people that were in office in some way were communist. He started the red scare. It took place in 1953, in the United States. It was important because it started the red scare, and made everyone not trust certain people. It affected, probably mostly politics, and the society. This is because it made a lot of people not trust the government, and probably swayed opinion in some elections.

    Rosa parks, and the bus companies were involved. She refused to get on a bus. That started a nationwide bus boycott. It took place in the U.S. It was important because it made buses non segregated, and it inspired people. This event impacted society by changing bus rules. It also gave people a lot of inspiration at the time.

We joined the war in 1965, and it took place in south Asia, in Vietnam. It is important because a lot of people died and it showed a very controversial time in the U.S. It effected politics and society because it resulted in Richard Nixon becoming president, because he "Promised to end the war." Also, it affected society by riots etc.

    Sirhan Sirhan, and Robert F. Kennedy were involved. What happened was Robert's bodyguard got caught in the crowd and Robert went through the kitchen. Then is when Sirhan Sirhan shot Kennedy 3 times with a 22. Caliber pistol, 1 in the head and 2 in the chest. It took place at the Ambassador hotel. It was important because it is part of the Kennedy tragedy. The affected politics and society. It affected politics because he was eliminated as a candidate. It affected society because he was liked.

The space shuttle launched, and a plume of black smoke appeared below the booster part of the rocket. 59 seconds after liftoff the shuttle explodes over the Atlantic ocean, there were no survivors. The event took place in the U.S. on January 28, 1986. It was important, because it stunted our space program, and sort of left a bad mark on it. It impacted probably society the most. This is because a lot of people were interested in the space program.

It is important because it is one of the major wars for america, and Britain. It impacted mostly society because people's family members were once again being shipped off to war.
