Muhammad is vistied by the angel Gabriel. Grabriel proceeds to tell Muhammad that he is God's prophet and that he must preach the word of God to his people.

After the success of getting the majority of Medina to accept the islam religon Muhammad and his followers go back to Mecca. This thime they are successful in getting the citizens of Mecca to accept islam.

Abu Bakr was a close friend of Muhammad's and was one of the first men to convert to Islam.

Muhammad dies this day in Medina due to an illness.

Before Umar accepted Islam, he was one of the most rabid enemies of Muhammad. Still he becomes the second caliph.

The decision for the third Caliph was down to two people, Uthman or Ali. Abdur Rahman bin Auf in the end chose Uthman to become the third Caliph

The Muslims entered Eypt which resulted in Islam beginning to spread through North Africa.

Ali was victor in the the Battle of Badr and in the Battle of Uhun, when most of the Muslims fled, he stayed and fought. He then became the fourth caliph.

As Muslims continue moving through Africa, Islam spreads farther through Africa too.

As Muslims go farther into Asia they spread Islam through the region and make more and more of Asia Islamic.

At this time about 30% of the Africans forced into slavery in the United States are Muslims. Since this is happeing, Islam will slowly start spreading in the United States.
