Teachers partcipate in the Online Academy to learn about blended learning. Teacher sshare and collaborate ideas via district's Edmodo account. -
New Ed Services and Grade Level Edmodo Groups
Launch Ed Services Edmodo space. All teachers join grade level groups to create and share their fall curriculum map. Examples template in Google docs. All teachers have access to all groups. Educators.coop will support teams in accomplishing the task. -
PD Summer Program
Create a summer program to train teachers in a blended learning environment. Create a four-week session with a lead teacher to support new teacher each week as they collaborate and create a blended learning experience for students. -
Understanding Blended Learning and the Common Core
Provide teachers with optional ways to learn about the common core and online and blended learning. Set up intersession opportunities with district support to come in and process through the Cajon Valley Digital Academy. -
New Badges
Create new badge for Hapara and Edmodo. Provide teachers with multiple pathways to acquire the badge. -

First draft of Curriculum Maps
Grade level teams have submitted their fall curriculum maps to the grade level folders in Edmodo. -
Activate Instruction
Teacher get formal PD in navigating activate instruction to gather and share common core resources -
Pilot Evaluation
Evaluate Math Pilot and share results wiht key sstakeholders. -
Wireless upgrade
We complete districtwide infrastructure upgrades at all site June -August 2014. -
Summer Program
Four-week summer program begins. Real-time PD for teachers. ONe teacher provides mentorship throughout the entire 4 week program. Each week two additional teachers support the mentor teacher in creating a blended learning environment. -
RFP for SIS System
We will put out an RFP for a new system that integrates, report cards, SIS, Parnet Communication, etc. -
All Planning Maps are in Edmodo
All Fall Curriculum Maps are in Edmodo grade level folders. Teachers preselect the district performance task that coinsides with the focu of their map. -
Performance task
All teachers have designed their Trimester 1 performance task and that is shared in the DefinedSTEm district folder and the link in posted in the grade level Edmodo group. -
LMS
Select LMS that integrates wtih the new SIS system. -
New Common Core Report Card
Teachers use the new common core report card that takes into account data from the online learning programs, problem-based learning, and district performance tasks.
