    The Boston Tea Party took place in Boston, Massachusetts. What happened was Patriots boarded the ships of the British and threw the chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. The British government responded harshly and the event escalated into the American Revolution. I chose to talk about this topic because this was really the first spark that made the British mad.

    The Battles of Lexington and Concord is what started the American Revolutionary War. These battle were fought between the British soldiers who wanted to take away the weapons owned by the colonists while also trying to arrest John Hancock and Samuel Adams and then the American colonists. The battle’s were fought in towns outside Boston, Massachusetts. I chose this topic because this is what started our revolution.
