Treaty of Paris (French and Indian War)
This is when the French gave up their territory in North America. When the French gave up their territory it ended any foreign military threat to the British colony. This document officially ended the 7 Year War I will be showing you a video of the French and Indian war happening -
The Proclamation Line of 1763
This is Great Britain's acquisition of French territory in North America after the end of the French and Indian War( seven year war ) which forbade settlement past a line drawn along the Appalachian Mountains. The colonists got very mad that they could not settle past the Appalachian Mountains. They settled anyway. I will show you the proclamation line of 1763 -
Sugar Act

Townshed Act
This act is when the British taxed the colonists in the United States because the British didn't have enough money to supply people and their soldiers. These acts were named after Charles Townshend. I will show you the Townshed Act -
Boston Massacre
This is when an angry mob threw snowballs, stones, and sticks at a squad of British troops who shot the Patriots with their guns for self defense. After the fight many Patriots were dead or severely injured when the British soldiers fired. Five colonists died. I will show you the Boston Massacre -
