    8 major people involved in the American revolution were Ethan Allen, Benedict Arnold, Elijah Clarke, Alexander Hamilton, Paul Revere, Crispus Attucks, Benjamin Franklin, and King George III. The American Revolution was a colonial revolt that happened between 1765-1783. It happened in the United States. I chose this event because I feel it is one of the most important events in American history, seeing as how it resulted in the independents for Britain, establishing the United States of America.

The stamp act was when the new tax was imposed on all American colonists and required them to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used. It was was passed by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765, produced in London. I chose it because its interesting. It’s important because it was a major cause of the revolution.
