Instead, he starts to explore East Texas. He meets Indians, and burns their villages. -

Since Cibola Was never "Confermed" or spoken of, there was no reason to send them. -

Indians Become Very Hostile
Since Coronado, the Natives have hated the white man. They kill every one of them, on sight. Eventually, hundreds of years later, the Natives still have control. WWII is lost, without the help from the U.S. In Vietnam, the lasts about a year, instead of ten. North Korea takes over the South, and terrorism is at an all-time high. Slavery is still in effect, on a massive scale. They world is so much different from what we know today.
