As students have access to technology on a daily basis, they need to interact with technology in a way that will build skills and assist them in their academic advancement. -
SPSA Planning
Identify areas for funding for additional technology to expand daily technology use in additional classrooms. -
Stakeholder Focus Group / Survey
Provide survey to gain feedback from all stakeholders on technology needs. Hold meetings with focus groups to identify the type of technology that would be most beneficial to academic needs of students. -
School Site Council Meeting: SPSA Approval
Review SPSA at School Site Council Meeting for approval of technology expansion. -
Submit Purchase Order
Purchase additional chrome carts to be ready for the technology expansion. -
Inventory Chromecarts
Assembly chromecarts and inventory to prepare for use for the 2017-18 school year. -
Site/District 1:1 Technology Meetings
Identify needs to move toward a 1:1 technology site. Work with district to identify possible funding for expansion of technology. Present site plan to district. -
Technology Professional Development
Provide professional development session to expand knowledge on ways to incorporate technology into curriculum content areas. -
Continuing Technology PD
Provide voluntary Pd sessions for teachers to expand knowledge on ways to incorporate technology into content areas. Allow for Tech-Know teacher to share ideas with colleagues. -
1:1 Technology Board Approval
Submit approval for 1:1 technology for board approval. -
Create Purchase Order / Order Technology
Identify site needs for 1:1 technology and submit purchase of technology through purchasing department. -
Inventory 1:1 Technology
Library Tech to inventory and bar code all 1:1 devices to prepare for student check out for the 2018-19 school year. -
Create Technology Contract
Administration develop technology contract for student/parents to sign outlining responsibility of 1:1 technology/electronic textbooks. -
Student Technology Contract
Create student technology contract. Provide form to all students at registration and inform parents of requirements/appropriate use contract. -
1:1 Technology Presentations
Classroom presentations to students during the first week of school to review responsible technology use and expectations. -
1:1 Technology Roll Out
Every student provided 1:1 technology for the 2018-19 school year.
