Winnetka Plan
Developed in the elementary school system in Winnetka, IL, this plan was based on two areas: "Common Essentials" and "Creative Group Activities."
Curriculum focused on individualized plans and encouraged students to learn at their own pace. No students were to "fail" either area. There were no achievement standards or measurements. -
