    7 year old, Rolihlahla Dalibhunga Mandela, is the first of his family to go to school.
    He starts at Methodist Missionary school, where he is given the English name, "Nelson," from his teacher.

    Nelson Mandela's non-vilent protest on treason
    Nelson Mandella along with 150 other members of the ANC were arrested durring a non-vilent protest. They were charged with treason. All members were aquuitted.

    Nelson Mandella started a bombing campaign against symbolic locations such as goverment offices. All locations were empty of people. People were killed if anyone got out of it they had serious injurys.

    He was arrested in August of 1962 and sent to prision at Johannesburg Fort. The arrest was assisted by the CIA. He was arrested because of sabotage and attempt to overthorwthe govenment.

    He was released from prision on February 11th of 1990. His release ruined my Dad's Saturday morning cartoon watching. Something he is still bitter about today. Upon his release he gave a speach that was broadcasted live around the world.

    He was given the Nobel Peace prize. He stood up to stop racism, he kept geting back no matter what and stoped his people from being slaves.
