I chose this event because it marks the begining of american freedom. It show when the first shots for the fight for our freedom. Along with the treaty that was ratified that officially ended the fight against Great Britain for the freedom of the United States. April 19, 1775-January 14 1784 -
Declaration of Independence
I chose this event because to me the Declaration of Independence is the most important document in American History. It shows that we were and even still are willing to fight for freedom in our country. It isn't just a document it is another step America took towards freedom. -
Constitution
I chose the constitution because it lays out the guide lines to the new country. It states the rights that americans have as citizens. Gives the guide lines to becoming an american citizens. Most of all it out lines the American Government. -
Bill Of Rights
I chose the Bill of Rights because it is a important change to the Constitution. It adds to the Consatitution stating the rights that Americans have. It not only states but explains the rights of American Citizens. -
Begining of The Lewis and Clark Expedition
I chose this event because if we had not sent out someone to explore the Louisiana Purchase all of the great discoveries wouldn't have been discovered. Lewis and Clark make peace with the Indians. Along with the discovery of great flora and fauna. -
Civil War
I chose this event because the Civil war was like African Americans fight for freedom. To me it was like their Revolutionary War. It may have been a bloody battle but it was worth it. -
Lincoln Assassination
I chose this event because Lincolns assassination was a huge step in American History. It not only showed the need for presidents to be protected. To me it showed that Americans are not as week as some people had thought back then. -
Spanish American War
I chose this event because even though it was a short war it was significant. It gave America a good experience. Along with having some minor consequences it had a lot of advantages. -
Model T
I chose the Model T because it started the growth of the automobile franchise. With the automobile franchise growing so was the economy. Allong with the economy growing it helped create many new jobs. -

I chose this event because to me White Castle started trhe fast food franchise. White castle has become a well known restraunt. From being a small place to a huge franchise today .
