He wrote a series of essays between July 1781 and July 1782 in which he advocated the replacement of the Articles of Confederation with a strong federal government. He is important because he helped shape the government into what it is today. -
The Proclamation of 1763
This created a boundary, known as the proclamation line, separating the British colonies on the Atlantic coast from American Indian lands west of the Appalachian Mountains. This was important because it stopped the British from invading their land. -

This was a riot that quickly escalated to a chaotic blood slaughter. This is important because it showed just how needed a revolution was to the American people. -

The colonists were frustrated and angry at Britain for imposing “taxation without representation” and dumped 342 chests of tea into the ocean. This was important because it showed that the Americans did not enjoy being controlled by Britain. -

The Minutemen were a small hand-picked elite force which were required to be highly mobile and able to assemble quickly. They were important because they helped get messages to other people quickly and efficiently. -

These were German soldiers who served as auxiliaries for the British army. This is important because it showed who was on the British side. -
Boston Court Act
This act closed the port of Boston and demanded that the city's residents pay for the tea dumped into the port during the Boston tea party. This is important because it just showed how angry the British were because of the acts the Colonies were doing to rebel agents British rules. -
First Continental Congress
This was a meeting of delegates from 12 of the 13 British Colonies that became the United States. This is important because if this had not happened the Colonists would not have found a good way to govern them selves. -
"Give Me Liberty of Give Me Death" Speech
This means that if the British don't give the Colonists liberty then the British should just kill them. This is important because it showed just how mad the Colonists were with the British. -
Battle of Lexington and Concord
This was one of the first battle's agents the British and the Colonists. This is important because it started the war and was the beginning of the revolution. -
Second Continental Congress
This was a nation government of the 13 colonies. This is important because without this during the war we would have still been considered apart of the British government. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
This battle was the second battle fought by the British and the Colonists and was a loss for the Colonists and was a win for the British. This is important because it was the needed confidence boost that the Colonists needed and showed just how prepared the British were and how the colonists needed to change their tactics if they want to win the war. -
French and Indian War
The French and Indian War or Seven Years War was primarily fought between Britain and France over territory and ended with a British victory. This is important because it made the French switch sides and want to help the Colonists win the revolution. -

This is when the Declaration of Independence was signed and stared the creation of our government we have today. This is important because it is the signing of the Declaration of Independence. -

This battle consisted of 2 battle's one being the battle of Freeman's Farm the other being the battle of Bemis Heights witch both ended in Colonial victory. This is important because it showed the British just how strong the Colonists were at fighting battle's. -
Articles of Confederation
This was a prototype constitution that created a nation of independent states loosely linked together by a single congress. This is important because these were needed to help shape the Constitution of today. -
Treaty of Paris
It was a treaty that stated that the colonies were there own nation and giving them most land east of Mississippi. This was important because this treaty was the end of the war and was the creation of the USA.
