Birth
I was born in 1848. I grew up on a rice farm with my parents. My dad was 26 and my mom was 22. I was an only child. My bigget dream was to go to america. -
Arrival
For my 18th birthday present my parents payed for a boat to america. I arrived at angel island 3 weeks later. The line went very fast because i was so excitec to leave. -
Job
I got a job a couple days later working in a mine. it wasent the best work ever but it payed and thats what mattered. Wile working i met a couple outher chines friends. they were very nice to me being new. -
Exploasion
One day i was late to work. i was about to enter the mine and there was a huge exploasion. i saw the rocks cave in. a bunch of people died that day. since the rocks caved in we had to start mining all over agian -
Moving into the city
Later on i earned eneough money to move into the city. everyone was so mean to me. i dident know why. they shouted at me and yelled and threw things. -
moving back home
After a year i coulding take it anymore. i moved back to china and lived the rest of my life with my parents.
