At 4.30 — 6.30 am: Invasion of the Gallipoli Peninsula began the ANZACs landed in Anzac Cove it is still unsure to why they landed here rather than landing in Cape Tepe which is set two kilometres north of Anzac Cove. • Althoug they were only a few kilometers away from there intended landing spot the soldiers found themselves in territory which was the opposite to what they were preperd for. The Turkes seemed to be ready for them.
