Gadsden Purchase
It was an agreement between the United States and Mexico. Where the U.S payed Mexico $10 million for a 29, 679 square miles portion of Mexico, which is now Arizona and New Mexico. -
Mexican War
The war started bc the border dispute. It lasted from 1846-1848. U.S ended up paying Mexico $18M for the territory
