The Chinese Exclusion Act is passed.
In 1882 Congress passed this act prohibited Chinese immigration.
The act was renewed in 1892 for another 10 years as there was a mix of racist fears swell as economic scarcity in the United States.

The Dawes Act
federal law intended to turn Native Americans into farmers and landowners by providing cooperating families with 160 acres of reservation land for farming or 320 acres for grazing.

Was a war between the Allies and the Central Power from 1914 to 1918. This war was very brutal due to trench warfare and new technologies among civilian and solider deaths it is estimated to be around 37 million deaths. -
Espionage Act
its purpose was to prohibit interference with military operations in addition to prevent insubordination in the military, and to prevent the support of United States enemies during wartime.

Pearl Harbor
The attack on pearl Harbor was a surprise attack by the imperial Japanese navy air system against the United States base in Hawaii. The total number of military personnel killed was 2,335.

Harlem Renissance
This event took place In Harlem, New York. It was a cultural, intellectual and social movement. It was considered to be the "re-birth of the African American Arts" Music and art were huge during this time not only by African American but White Americans... it allowed for expression of African American culture without fear, rather praise and pridefulness

The Great Depression
A severe Worldwide economic depression that began in the late 20's and ended in the late 30's. One of the depressions biggest causes was the stockmarket crashing. The depression left millions unemployed, thousands of businesses were forced to close down and the United States was at a very low point.

I Have a Dream Speech

Regan ended the Cold War in 1991 after the war started in 1945. Many Americans were able to take a deep breath as this was the fist time they lived in an America without a war going on. In the end no one won the Cold War.
