Political machine was a political group which authorities boss or small groups supported corps of supported and business. Usually campaign workers received rewards for their efforts. This group was important because they stole between 20 to 400 million dollars and later got arrested and died in jail. -
Labor Strikes
American workers in many fields held strikes which demanded higher pay, more hours, better contracts and to improve working conditions. This grew in the United States a lot for the reason that workers just wanted to protect themselves and still have a job. This was important because nobody would listen so their last resort was strikes. -

This was the industrial revolution in Europe. Also it was an big hit in the United States with early workers and trade unions who played a very big role with independence. This was so known because their were so many employers who worked in unsafe conditions with reasonable wages. -
19th Amendments
This amendment was created because with this women had the right to vote by congress and sent to the states for ratification. Also their was a movement that was founded in the mid 19th century which was called the Women't Suffrage. This was important for women but also it was prohibited to be denied the right to vote based on sex. -

She was inspired to fight for women's rights while also campaigning against alcohol. She was important because she was convinced that women needed to vote so she was later the leader of the women's rights movement -
Eugene V. Debbs
This person was the candidate for the Unites States Congress from his native state Indiana 1916. He ran for president and won. Debbs won 88 electoral votes while the other condimental had only 2 states and 8 electoral votes. This person was important because he began his rise to prominence but later on was sentenced 10 years in prison for being involved in World War 1. -

This was an process for the manufacture of steel which was developed by Henry Bessemer. It was the first inexpensive industrial process for the production of steel. This production was from molten pig iron before the development of the open hearth furnace. -

She was so important because she was a advocate of immigrants, the poor and peace. Jane was the female who found the first settlement house in the Unites States. Not just the first settlement but she also dedicated herself to improve social conditions for immigrants and any other residents in urban slums. -

These house were established in poor urban area. The people who would live their were settlement workers which hoped to share knowledge and culture. Settlement houses were important because it responded to growing industrial poverty. -
Haymarket Riot
A labor protest rally that was near Chicago's Haymarket Square later on it turned into a riot after someone threw a bomb at the police. As a result of this violence at least eight people died. The importance of this was that this was suppose to help labor workers but this actually hurt them more. -
Klondike Gold Rush
This name was build by the founders Jim Mason, Dawson Charlie and George Washington found gold in a tributary of the Klondike River in Canada's Yukon Territory. Surprisingly they had no idea they would set off one of the greatest gold rushes in history. They were urban dwelling which were occupied by impoverished families. These were sort of like apartment house that barely meet the standards of safety, sanitation and comfort. These were the only houses that accommodate the growing population. -
Pure Food and Drug Act
This was to protect the public against adulteration of food and from products as healthful without scientific support. To make more sense this was preventing the manufacture, sale or transportation of poisonous food. This was important because it would help the people not get sick, poisoned and even death. -
16th Amendment
Is an important amendment that allows the federal government to collect an income tax from all Americans. This is an amendment that states to not prohibit the consumption of alcohol. Also the simply the sale, manufacture and transportation of alcoholic beverages. Is very important because this banned the sale and drinking of alcohol in the Unites States. -

He was an American statesman and writer. He was the 26th president of the Unites States from 2902 to 1909. Not also was the president but the Vice President of the United States from March to September 1901. He was a important person because he sought to build up the country's defense.
