    On July 4, 1776 the United States of America got our independence. This is the day the United States Continental Congress signed the Deleration of Independence.

    The U.S. constitution was signed on Sptember 17, 1787. It was signed in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania. That's really close to us, which is cool.

    In May of 1804 Lewis & Clark were asked by President Thomas Jefferson to go explore the west. They encountered many things that had not been discovered yet. The returned in the Fall of 1806. Lewis commit suicide,

    The California Goldrush began January 24, 1848, The end date is not exactly known but it was sometime in 1855. People came from everywhere to take part in the gold rush. Everyone wanted to strike it rich. The people were called forty-niners.

    August 28, 1963 was a big day for African Americans and America itself. On this day people march right to the Reflecting Pool in peacful protest. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his I have a dream speech.

    My Birthday!
    My birthday is in the Fall, and that's why Fall is my favorite season. I was born really early in the morning, like 4:00-ish. I am fourteen.
  • 9/11 Terrorist attack

    On September 11, 2001 terrorist took over planes and crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City. Other locations were the Pentagon and a place in PA. I was 2 when it happened.

    On July 10, 2008 Mount St. Helens erupted. It is located in Skamania County, Washington. It is part of the Cascade Mountian range.
