I learned to type on a manual typewriter in highschool

1977

When I was a senior in high school if I was in class fast enough I could use one of the three electric typewriters for class. I was also a secretary off and on for several years and used electric typewriters in the offices I worked in.

1980

When I worked in the law office I actually had a typewriter with a screen so I could edit each sentence. It had a correction button. It was so high tech!!!!

First computer I used

1985

I worked for a defense company that had their own word processing program. If you wanted to add something you had to push the function button and the number associated with what you were wanting to do. I got fast at it but it was a pain.

I did work for a few people from home after I had kids and was staying home. I got to use a word processor.

Atari Computer

1989

Ours didn't look like this but my husband had an Atari Computer when we got married

Our first home computer

1994

I remember our first home computer. We had dial up internet.

Fast forward to my bachelors degree

2006

I got my bachelors degree online when online school was just beginning. I went through three laptops to get there.

I enjoy having new and fast computers
