The New Colonists 5
People started migrating from European countrys to the United States. Europeans were establishing colonies. They first came to Virginia, and then discovered Massachusetts. They met Indians. Sometimes they developed a friendship, but most of the time they fought. This was significant to the United States, and gave many opportunities for a new life. -

The Great Depression 4
The stockmarket chrashed. That was the beginning of Americans out of work. There savings, and homes were also gone. Americans were left on the street with very little money, food, and water. Many of people lost there lives from various deseases and reasons. The government now works hard to not let it happen again. -
World War II 2
The Nazi's pushed Germany into war. It started when Germany invaded Poland. There was many countries involved. The Nazi's killed over 6 Million Jews. That led to Japan bombing Pearl Harbor. World War II led to 50 Million lose their lives. It started Pearl Harber, a huge American tragedy, it also created the UN. -
Civil Rights Movemennt 3
It's most important leader was Martin Luther King Jr. he fought discrimination with nonviolence. They fought for blacks, hispanics, American indians, and women, so they could have equal rights. It gave peace to humans who aren't whitemen. It made the U.S. a better place to be. -
9/11 1
There was a tourist attack led by Osama Bin Laden. Two plains crashed into the twin towers. One crashed into the pentagon also. Another was heading towards the White House, but brave passengers risked their lives to make it crash into open land. This was a tragedy. Many lost their lives. This changed plane security forever, as well as security in general.
