    Children may stand alone without supprt for a short time and climb staris on both their hands and knees.They are also able to climb out of the crib, high chair, and or stroller.

    Vocabulary increases to 4 to 6 words. They start noticing the actions of others. Toddlers also have a very short memory and almost no forethought.

    Toddler walks fast and starts to run stiffly. They are unable to kick balls. They also start to show hand preference.

    Short attention span, they start to figure things out through thought process. Says "no" more than any other word.

    Squats easily in play and is able to run easily in play. Can build a tower of about 5 to 6 blocks.

    Has a vocabulay of 20 words. They use imaginative play and enjoys nursery rhymes.

    Toddlers jump with both feet. They like to play with modeling clay and holds crayons with thumb and fingers.

    Is able to use 50 or more words. They are very curious about objects in nature. They also notice when pictures books and turned upside down.

    Torso starts to lengthen and baby fat starts to disapear. Are able to open doors by turning knobs. Love to climb everywhere.

    Is able to use 200-500 words. They like to imitate pictures of older childeren and enjoys learning the names of objects.

    Knows up to 1000 words. They can recognize themselves in photos and becomes more skilled in putting pizzles together.
