  • Plessy v.Ferguson

  • Brown vs. Board of Education

    Father Oliver Brown had made the decision to enroll his daughter into a all white school, but sadly enough they wanted to decline his registration, so he decided to sue the school board due to unfairness and wrongful treatment.
  • Tinker v. Des Moines

    In 1969, this act has applied to all students in school to have the ability of freedom speech on school grounds without breaking precautions.
  • Title IX

    During this time this law has posted that no matter what race a person is or gender they shall not be denied any kind of financial assistance ,educational, or even sports opportunity more as having an equal opportunity available for everyone to take advantage of.
  • Education of All Handicapped Children Act

    This Act gives the ability to help students who have learning disabilities to have the same opportunities of learning styles just like any other students including some more resources.
  • Plyler vs. Doe

    This Act explained that no matter where the child comes from, they should get the exact same opportunity like any student who is a U.S. citizen.
  • New Jersey v. T.L.O.

    This even has went on when a faculty has noticed a student smoking in the bathroom, and now once the staff member had approach the student about they denied, but seem to have lied. In conclusion there is now a school law where students can have their own privacy.
  • Bethel School District #43 v. Fraser

    In the year of 1987, student Matthew N. Fraser had received a suspension for projecting his meaningful and force speech to all of the student body.
  • The No Child Left Behind Act

    In 2002 a new U.S. school law was set where students would be required to take exams and tests just to test the their knowledge, as well of it showing the main court results if teachers are actually putting in effort on helping students learn their material.
