Timeline With Addiction

  • Learned to write a lower case 'a'

    When I was in kindergarten, I was at Shelby's house. We were trying so hard to write a lower case 'a'. This was a giant moment in my life as a 5 year old and was the biggest accomplishment of my life at the time. I was soooooo proud!

  • New School

    January of 2005, I came from Dixonville school and started my first day at Holy Family. If I was still at Dixonville my life would BE A LOT DIFFERENT.

  • Best Friend at New School

    In grade two I first became friends with my best friend up until last year. NAMED KATE.

  • Finished Swimming Lessons

    Finished my last swimming lesson. It took 9 YEARS.

  • Graduate Highschool

    THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT IN MY LIFE IF I WANT TO GO TO UNIVERSITY AND STUFF.

  • I BECOME A HEROIN ADDICT

    I AM NOW A HEROIN ADDICT

  • DECIDE I WANT HELP

    I am tired of living on the streets, and I realize that this is a bad thing. I JUST CAN'T STOP. I ask for help from family and friends, and I move back in with my PARENTS.

  • Move in with my Parents

    They see that I TRUELY want help, so they have taken me in.

  • Checked for diseases, starting TREATMENTS

    Parents took me to the hospital to check for any diseases or unhealthy things due to my drug abuse and living on the street.

  • First Time At Rehab

    I finally am agreeing to go to rehab, I notice how my drug abuse is affecting me, my family and friends.

  • Take final rehabilitation = SUCCESS

    The last few times I went to rehab they had failed. This 4th time it is finally successful.

  • Get A Job

    I take as many opportunities as possible throughout overcoming my drug addiction. I rebuild my resume and apply for a waitressing job. I have my first day on this day,

  • Move out on my own and go to a small community college.

    I am not excepted into any universities, and I decide to take buisness classes and learn as much as I can. I want to start my own buisness I also want to go to culinary school in the future.

  • Open my own bakery

    Ive gone to culinary school and learned all about running your own buisness and how to run a bakery etc. I have bought a small house and made a living for myself upstairs and the buisness downstairs.

  • Get married

    Yay I finally got married at age 41. Took long enough.

  • Start a family

    I know there are risks, but people at this age have children all the time, I am willing to take THE RISK.

  • DIE

    I have gone through lots, and I have finally been hit by a truck on my way to the grocery store.
