    The Bubonic Plague was a disease in Medieval times that wiped out about 1/3 of 14th century Europe. It is the most fatal pandemic recorded in history.

    The Gutenberg bible was printed in Mainz by Johann Gutenberg and his associates, Johann Fust and Peter Schoeffer. Only 48 copies are known to have survived.
