The 95 Theses!!
Martin Luther hung the famous 95 Theses on the door of the Church of Wittenberg. This starts the Reformation. The Reformation is when some Christians start turning away from the power hungry Catholic Church to worship God different ways. (The Catholic Church aren't what they were back then so please have no bad feelings towards them) -

William Shakespeare builds the Globe Theater and writes many plays over the next few years including Hamlet and Macbeth. -
Galileo!!
Galileo uses his newly fixed telescope to observe the sky. He then finds all of Jupiter's moons. They're called Europa, Callisto, Lo, and Ganymede.
