Full Blown talking.
By the age of one I was already talking. They may not have been sentences that made sense, but I was already gabbing my mother and fathers ears off! -

Lost my Grandmother to lung cancer. <3
Even though I was only 5 I can still remember going to the funeral, my parents trying to explain what had happened. I can still remember and feel the hurt that I went through. -
Twin Towers went down.
I was at home sick, my bother was home, and so was my father. I remember sleeping on the couch when I woke up to my father turning on the television and watching what had happened. At the time I didn't really understand what had happened, all I knew was that it wasn't good. -
Trip to New York!
It was a very exciting moment to be in such a large area with so many people. However, it was still a very emotional time for the country. I remember that it still had a burnt smell around where the twin towers were, seeing all of the memorial things that family and friends had left around there. It really put things in perspective for me. -
Lost my Aunt.Marie to breast cancer. <3
Once again I remember everything that had happened. I remember when my mom got the phone call and I immediately knew what was wrong and what had happened. I remember her calling my dad and tellling him. I remember driving to the store with my mom to pick up stuff for the car ride (she had lived in Virginia), during that car ride my mom had a large break down, as an 8 year old I wasn't completely sure how to react. All I knew was that I would never see her again. -

House flooded.
At five o' clock in the morning my family got woken up to over a foot of water in our house from all of the rain that had over flowed the creek by our house. We had to gut our house. We had lost everything. From pictures, to clothes/shoes, priceless memories and height measurements on the wall, to electronics. We were left with nothing. We had to move in with the Campbells for the entire summer. We moved back in a week before school started back up. -
Got my first car/permit
Once I started drivers training and got my permit, my parents wanted me to have experience with the car that I would be driving for awhile so they baught me a car. -
Shooting at Fort Hood, Texas
I remember wondering why anyone would do that. I remember that my mom was crying. -
Lost my Uncle.Mark! <3
I remember the day, the time, and the place when I found out about my uncles death. It was 4:30 in the morning when my mom got home from the hospital (my dad was admitted in the hospital that day.) She had gotten the call at around 2am from my aunt telling her that my uncle had shot and killed himself at around 4pm that afternoon. -
Lost my "brother" Bradford! <3
Brad lived with my family for awhile after his mother passed away. He was like a brother to me. He called my mother and father mom and dad. Once my brother Kyle and Brad moved out they got an appartment together. One morning my brother went into his room to go and wake him up he found him dead. He had died of an enlarged heart. -
Lost my life long friend James Patrick Campbell! <3
To this day I still remember that day, that call, and my parents sitting me down to tell me what had happened. My parents and his parents have been friends for over 30 years. James and I experienced everything together. We were friends for 16 years, we had so many plans, and knowing that he won't be able to join me in my future, somtimes makes me wonder if I even want a future! -
