Saladin manages to unite the Muslim world and recapture Jerusalem, sparking the Third Crusade. -

The Fourth Crusade
It was originally intended to conquer Muslim-controlled Jerusalem by means of an invasion through Egypt. Instead, in April 1204, the Crusaders of Western Europe invaded and conquered the Christian city of Constantinople, capital of the Eastern Roman Empire -

The Fifth Crusade
It was an attempt to reacquire Jerusalem and the rest of the Holy Land by first conquering the powerful Ayyubid state in Egypt. All of which resulted in a Decisive Egyptian victory, and an eight year peace treaty between Ayyubid Empire and European kingdoms. -

The Sixth Crusade
It started in 1228 as an attempt to regain Jerusalem. It began seven years after the failure of the Fifth Crusade. It involved very little fighting. The diplomatic moving of the Holy Roman Emperor, Frederick II, resulted in the Kingdom of Jerusalem regaining control of Jerusalem and other areas for fifteen years. -

The Seventh Crusade
It was a crusade led by Louis IX of France from 1248 to 1254. Approximately 800,000 pesants were paid in ransom for King Louis who, along with thousands of his troops, was captured and defeated by the Egyptian army led by the Ayyubid Sultan Turanshah. -

The Eigth Crusade
It was in Tunisia, and was the kingdom of France and Anjou against Hafsids (Muslims). It resulted in the Treaty of Tunis, death of Louis IX, and the opening of trade with Tunis. -

Ninth Crusade
It is sometimes grouped with the Eighth Crusade, is commonly considered to be the last major medieval Crusade to the Holy Land. It was the end of the crusadees in the middle east. Mamluks get control of the Holy Land.
