It's a Girl!
On March 28th, 2000 at 6:16pm, I was born on time and up to par. It was a cool spring day with no complications at St. Joes Hospital, only excitement. This was the day that everything started. -
Preschool
September 3rd, 2002 was the day my first year (of three) of preschool started at Kalvery Kids Preschool. Never before had I met such different and new kids. -
A New Home
The first time I moved houses was in October of 2002. We moved into a ranch style home off of a dirt road with a large lake in the back. While all of the change was hard to take in, I'm glad that it all took place. I cannot imagine my life living anywhere else than here. -
Off We Go
Over the summer vacation of 2003, I went on an airplane for the first time. My family and I took a long trip and spent two weeks in Calorado. It was the first time I had been anywhere so far away and the first time my eyes were really opened about other places. -
Ouch!
In late January of 2004, I was on our toy Sit 'N Spin, and slipped. I ended up cutting a big gash above my right eye and was in need of stitches. Before this, I had never been in so much pain, and from there on, I made sure to prevent any more. -
A Big Sister?
Being the youngest child out of two was simple, easy, and fun. The day my brother was born, July 15th 2005, was a Friday. I was five years old and I refused to go to the hospital until after his birth and he was cleaned off. I wasn't ready to be the middle child, much less an older sibling; what was I supposed to do? -
Kindergarten
After three years, preschool was too easy; I was bored of "nap time" and all of the little kid things. I was ready to grow up and move on. My first day of kindergarten, Spetember 6th, 2007, I was more than eager to start school at Holly Academy. I was the only one in my family that was excited to start. -
Way Far Away
For three weeks, my family of 15 drove all the way to Utah over 2010's summer break. We celebrated my brother's 5th birthday and had a great time with once in a lifetime memories. This trip made me realize how much I really love my family, but hate long car rides. -
A Better Place
On January 15th, 2011, my mother, brother, and I visited my grandmother, who had been diagnosed with cancer for quite a while, in the hospital. Later that night, at around 4:00am, she passed away. For hours I cried, regreting everything I did and didn't do. To this day, I still can not keep my eyes dry when I remember what happened during the worst day of my life: January 16th, 2011. -
I Think It's Broken
Less than a month before my 6th grade year, I visited my friend's house where she owned a golf cart. While riding on the back, we hit a bump and I hit the roof of the cart with my nose, and ended up breaking it. I had never broken a bone before. This was one of my most embarrasing moments and later would lead to even worse ones. -
Middle School
My first day of middle school was September 6th, 2011. Thankfully, I still attended Holly Academy, but I was still nervous to start. It wasn't physically going to middle school that scared me. I realized that I was actually growing up, and that was what scared me. -
Congradulations, You Passed!
After working for three months and learning all of the countless numbers of rules and regulations, in early April of 2012, my sister and I took a very important final test. It was our SCUBA diving final, and once we both passed, we became certified SCUBA divers. These lessons not only helped me understand what I was capable of, but also gained insight of how fortunate I am to have such an amazing family. -
The Most Beautiful Place
Later in the month of April, over spring break, after earning our SCUBA license, my family flew out to Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas. Over a span of two weeks, we dove, snorkeled, and had lots of fun. It was the most beautiful place I had ever been. -
High School
September 2nd, 2014 was a very scary day for me; it was my first day of high school at Holly High School. I found that after getting lost four times in one day, that things were going to be rough. I had thought that I was growing up before, but now I was terrified, and I did not have anyone at this new school to help me through it. -
Homecoming 2014
One of the best days I have ever had was my freshman homecoming dance. I had so much fun with all of my friends and I loved every second of it. Not only did I make new friends, but it showed me how much fun it is to take part in the school.
