The beginning of the Voyage
Day 1- September 21 1500
The voyage has begun! The journey that we behold will be rough but we shall get through it. On the Caravel there is a little cabin for the captain and officers. However for the crew and seamen there is no beds or hammocks. Sleep was a luxury while on this voyage. And there were no bathrooms while on this caravel. -

Rizhao Port
We have succesfully made it to our first port! It is located on China's 18,000-kilometer-long continental coastline and is facing the Yellow Sea. This port mainly handles with coal, minerals, crude oil, grain, steel, wood, cement, alumina, liquefied chemical products, coke and containers. -

Voyage Tracking so Far
Its been almost 3 months on the voyage and christmas is about to be upon us. There has not been any casualties yet and we are expecting to arrive to our first port in a couple of months. However there has been some disobedient men on the ship. The punishment is to be whipped with a Cat-O'-Tail. Being tarred and feathered, tied to a rope, swung overboard and ducked or keel-hauled were also possible punishmetns. -

Summer Number 1 on the Voyage
It is the first summer on the voyage and there has been a scurvy outbreak. The guy's gums, upper and lower, are so swollen that they are not able to eat which then results in starvation. Therefore the death rate on this voyage is and will continue to keep rising until we can do something about it. -

Kandla Port- Gujarat
We have arrived at port number 2 and so far its been good. It is a major seaport on the west coast. Kandla deals alot with imports like petroleum, chemicals and iron also export grains, salt, and textiles. This is one of the highest earning points of India. -

Currently we are now in Pakistan at the port called Karachi. The Karachi is the hub of Pakistans entire economic activities. It is commited to provide fast, efficient, responsive, reliable. -

Port 4
Port of Al Hoceima
It is located in Morocco and it serves many different fishing vessels and recreational boats. It is well known for its beautiful beaches. This port has a very busy fish market which makes many trades every day. -

Voyage Tracking
Disaster has struck among this voyage. We started out with four ships and now are only left with one. Many and many of men are dying from disease, starvation, and dehydration. We are extremely low on food and the food that we do have is infested with rat poop and grubs. The heat is unbearable and the conditions of the ship are not looking to good either. -

This port has shown remarkable development with the movement or cargo. Serves the vast Portuguese central Hinterland and an important area of Spain. -

The end of this journey is finally upon us and even though not everyone survived, the few of us who did can finally say we made it.
