The Stocking Frame
William Lee invented the Stocking Frame to make knitting stockings easier. If i was alive when this was invented, i was use it to make stockings for me and my family to keep warm in the cold winters. -
The Spinning Jenny
James Hargreaves invents the spinning jenny, automating weaving the warp (in the weaving of cloth). The Spinning Jenny helped weave string into clothe for people to trade and/or sell. If i was alive at the time, i would use the Spinning Jenny to weave sweaters and blankets to keep me and my family warm in the winter. -
Power-Loom
Cartwright builds a power-loom. The power-loom sped up the weaving process. If i was alive at this time, I would buy weavings that were made with the power-loom. The power-loom made all sorts of clothe which made clothes, and blankets, and much more. -
Rail Services
The Liverpool and Manchester Railway begin first regular comercial rail service. If i was alive at this time, i woul probably use the rail service everyday to get places all the time. -
Aniline Dyes
W.H Perkin produces aniline dyes permitting brightly colored cotton. The dyes would make cotton shades of colors. I would have used dyes to color my stockings blankets which i would make with the power-loom and the stocking frame.
