As Bates (2015) has indicated that technology is now frequently utilised to support or facilitate oral communication. Conversations with our friends, relatives, or coworkers, as well as presentations, debates and speeches, are examples of oral communication. -

Written Communication
Any interaction that involves the written word is considered written communication. Any engagement that involves the written word is considered written communication, which is currently characterised by a variety of technologies such as forums, chat, wikis, blogs, and social networking sites ( Betts, 2009 as cited in Barrett et all., 2020). Emails, Text messages, Blog posts, Business letters and Reports etc. can be as an example of written communication. -
Video
Videos have been a huge convenience in the history of education for understanding difficult information in addition to making learning permanent. With the advancement of technology, video usage in education increased, giving students the chance to study their lectures in comfort. Betts (2009) has indicated that with an internet connection, the [videos] enables students to view or review lectures. Youtube, VHS tapes, DVDs and Blu-ray discs are good examples. -
Broadcasting
An important role in the development of educational technology is held by broadcasting. Television started to be incorporated into education when it was used in classrooms. Betts (2009) makes clear that in the 1960s, schools and general adult education programmes employed television for the first time in education. Broadcasting can take several forms, including digital and analogue television, radio, and podcasts, online streaming, etc. -
Computer Technologies
Computer technology has been a key component of educational technology. The dominant paradigm in the regular educational system today is computer-mediated communication ("Educational technology," n.d.). Social media or online learning environments can be given as examples. -
