Thousands of kids went all the way to jerusalem. They believed that god would help them out. A lot of them died from starvation or froze to death. They were forced to return home. -

Fourth crusade
The crusades attack constantinople instead of the other way. HE stole stuates, jewelry, money and painting. They burned libraries and destroyed churches. They said they needed money to defend for a few things but they really never got any. -
Period: 1189 BCE to 1192 BCE
Third crusade
At this time saladin and richard respected each other. The king and two other leaders failed to recapture jerusalem. Richard the lionhearted=english. -
Period: 1096 BCE to 1099 BCE
First crusade
They were not prepared at all for this. They had no strategy at all. They had caved in at least 4 crusader states. Also, they captured jerusalem. -
1095 BCE
Pope Urban II Responds
He was reading a letter on the first day and it was saying they needed help for a holy war or crusade. The people who died in the crusades and fraught hard get a spot in heaven already. Also for all there sins forgiven. -
1093 BCE
The invaders
During this time period there leader asked for help to fight the invaders and hopefully win. The turks were mostly the invaders. So, the muslim turks were trying to take over the capital of constantinople. -
1092 BCE
Jerusalem
This part of the crusades was the city of jerusalem and the jews and christians could live in a certain part of the country only if they paid all of there taxes. This was in 1092 to 1093. Then around 1095 a new group of abies came in and took over jerusalem. They closed the city to jerusalem, christians,and only pilgrims. -

This is when the time got real and everything happened. This is the real stuff that is happening. -

Second crusade
The muslim leader takes control of jerusalem. The muslim turks re-counter the city. Also they salabrin is described by being honest and brave.
