The crusaders captured the city of Constantinople. -

Many childre died in this crusade complete with armies full of devoted children. -

Fifth Crusade
The crusaders were led by the kings of Hungary and Cyprus but the crusade was a massive failure. -

Sixth Crusade
The crusaders managed to recapture the city of Jerusalem and several other cities of Palestine. -

Seventh Crusade
Louis the ninth organised this crusade but the crusaders were defeated. -

Eighth Crusade
Louis the ninth again attempted to conquer Muslim occupation this time in Tunis in North Africa. But as it was the hottest season of the year, many of the crusaders, including the king, died of disease.
